From the languid fervor of “Passed” (“While the Freedom Train was reaching critical mass/The Trane just passed.”) to “Trane Tripping”‘s dreamscape shuffle, the warm multi-textured album is rich with poignant poetic lyrics, soothing rhythms and sensuous effervescent grooves.
